This weekend

Last week on Friday we had the service for Grandpa O. It was sad. It was a little hard. He was such a great man who had an amazing impact on so many people through his career and everyday life. He will be missed. Thomas and I both took the day off of work to go to the funeral so we decided to head out of town early to spend some time away from everything this weekend. We had to sign some papers in Havasu so we got out there about 5:00. The cool thing is that Jonathan can make it the whole way and just starts to fuss for about the last 15 minutes or so. While we were out there we met up with Thomas' great Aunt and Uncle who we went out to lunch with and had fun meeting JT on Saturday. We spend alot of time just chilling at the house but Thomas also got some work done too. The only thing we really have left is to tile the master bath and redo the countertop and a few other odds and ends but the bulk of the work is done. I had fun just relaxing and resting! It was much needed. Here are some photos of all the work we've done.

As I was looking around I am getting the itch to decorate a little bit..... the only catch... my "style" for the Havasu house is free or 75% off clearance at Walmart... :0) ( there is a really cute little kid table at Pottery Barn that I would love to put in the kitchen but unless Pottery Barn decides to mark it down to somewhere around 5 dollars it's not gonna happen. :0) ) We also need to get more pics of playing on the lake to decorate with! Anyone wanna come out and play?!?
