Enjoying and Easter swing before dinner.

Opening up a basket from Auntie Kaitlyn... it had some yummy candy in it for me too! Yeah!

Grandma made a basket just for the bubsters with mum mums, peach puffs, a touch the textures easter book and some easter little people. ! He loved it.

Since my dad is now retired we have to say "Adios Riverside!!" We celebrated at the Mission Inn with a yummy dinner and margaritas. He's not really done working as he is checking out some other job options but we love a good party anyways. :0)

The old boat

So we are still trying to sell the old 1978 Kona and Thomas has it on craigslist. We finally decided to put that we would trade for something (like a toy to play with in the sand when it it too cold to be on the lake in winter) and he got a guy who called him with an offer to rent the boat. to be in a movie. in Lake Havasu. and Thomas would drive it. or a stuntman.
HOLLYWOOD HERE WE COME!!!!!!
The movie is gonna be a remake of a 70's flick called "Piranha". SO you know it is gonna rake in the big bucks. or be in the 99 cent bin somewhere. :0) Apparently the attempt to remake it in the 80's didn't work out....

ON a side note I love trying to teach kindergartners to say the word "sphere" it is seriously hilarious.

Spring Break

I can't believe he has big teeth!!
Feeding Mr and Mrs Duck who came to visit both days.

He really wanted to kick and splash in the frigid water

Learning how to clim in the boat to get to momma's sandwich. He got both feet up when we were feeding the ducks.

happy boys!

So I started off spring break with the Havasu trip..... already posted about that... If you asked me what I did on spring break here is what I could tell you:

* I took a nap everyday

* I played with Jonathan Bean

* I played Wii with Thomas

* I went for walks with Jonathan

* I went to Wal Mart

* I didn't read a book or scrapbook or watch TV

* I did waste time on the computer

* ummmm that is pretty much it... It was WONDERFUL. I really needed the break and now I feel refreshed and ready to go back to the craziness of it all.

This past Friday and Saturday we went out to Havasu again. While we were glad to be in the sunshine (I heard that it was rainy back home), It was windy and not quite as warm. On Friday we found a little cove to park in and hang out and did the same on Saturday. We launched at Cat Tail this time and since it was so windy it felt like we were trying to launch on the ocean so we didn't take the pups with us. They played at the house and snuck passed the gates to get into the trash and lay on the furniture... grrrrr.... While we were driving out we realized we forgot the camera but I bought one for 20 bucks at Wal Mart... the quality isn't the best for all of you with professional cameras whose everday life photos look like they come from a magazine but it worked better than I thought it would! :0)
